VisionSync

Privacy Policy

Effective date:

Introduction

VisionSync ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of users of our services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, with whom we share it, and how you can exercise your privacy rights. Our principal place of business is in India and we operate globally.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information to provide and improve our services:

  • Account information: name, username, email address, language and country preferences.
  • Authentication data: password hashes and authentication tokens used to secure your account.
  • Usage and performance data: activity logs, session durations, exercise scores and related telemetry necessary to operate the Service and improve product quality.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, operating system and WebAssembly capability.
  • Billing information: payment metadata (we do not store full card numbers — payment processors handle card data).

How We Use Information

We use personal data to:

  • Provide, personalize and maintain the Service;
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • Communicate with you about your account and the Service;
  • Analyze and improve features, security and performance;
  • Comply with legal obligations and to protect legal rights.

Legal Basis for Processing (EU/EEA)

For individuals in the EU/EEA, we rely on legal bases including contract performance, legitimate interests (e.g., improving the Service), consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

Sharing and Disclosure

We share personal data with:

  • Service providers and subprocessors who perform services on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processing);
  • Legal or regulatory authorities when required by law or to protect our rights;
  • Affiliates and successors in the event of a corporate transaction, subject to confidentiality obligations.

Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. When we transfer personal data internationally, we use safeguards such as contractual protections and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses.

Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and for legitimate business purposes such as analytics and fraud prevention. Some aggregated or pseudonymized data may be retained indefinitely for research and product development.

Cookies and Tracking

We and our third-party partners use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, analytics, and preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may affect functionality.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction of processing, and objection. EU residents have GDPR rights and California residents may have CCPA rights. To exercise your rights, contact us at info@geosoftgroup.com. We may require verification before fulfilling requests.

Use by Minors

VisionSync provides visual training tools intended to support people with amblyopia ("lazy eye"). The Service may be used by children when supervised by a parent or legal guardian. If you are a parent or guardian, please review and consent to the collection and processing of your child's personal information when creating or managing an account for a minor. We recommend that parents/guardians supervise sessions and consult an eye care professional for clinical guidance.

When minors use the Service, we limit the collection of personal data to what is necessary for account functioning and training progress. If you believe that we have collected personal data about a child without appropriate consent, contact us at info@geosoftgroup.com and we will take appropriate steps, including deletion when required by law.

Security

We implement administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data. While we take reasonable measures, no system is completely secure.

Contact & Complaints

If you have questions or complaints about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact info@geosoftgroup.com. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Where local laws provide additional rights, those rights will apply.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
